Q: Who is behind Efface?
A: We are two designers from Parsons. Wan Jiahao and Xi Dongyi

Q: Where did the idea of Efface start?
A: So the name means erase in French. It is a reflection of this unifying world we live in. It means to erase your identity.

Q: If you had to choose one celebrity to represent Efface, who would you choose?
A: young Keanu Reeves

Q: What designer inspired you as a designer the most?
A: I would say Jun Takahashi and Yohji Yamamoto

Q: What is your favorite city?
A: New York and Shanghai

Q. Where do you see Efface in 5 years?
A: I see Efface with a storefront in both New York and Shanghai and have done many collaborations.

Q: If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
A: I would be able to teleport

Q: If you had the choice to collaborate with one artist, who would you choose?
A: I would say my favorite designer, Jun Takahashi.

Q: Top 3 hottest brands right now?
A: Hottest? So not necessarily the best? I’d say Balenciaga is hot right now, CDG, Nike.

Q: What’s your favorite book right now?
A: I read a lot of books, but at this moment, I really love My Dear Bomb by Yohji Yamamoto.

If you had to be stranded on an island for a year, what are 3 things you would bring?
A: A friend I can talk to, a knife and fire stone so I could survive.

Q: How do you want to be remembered?
A: By people liking my designs and wearing them.
